The design of subtle architectural elements throughout the space reflects the surrounding Chicago architecture, their love for Asian antiques and mid-century modern style. Art is important to the clients, so the space incorporates places to highlight and display their collections. The neutral palette in the home is derived from the pottery and artifacts that the clients own, as well as reflecting the surrounding outside views of Grant Park and Lake Michigan. Overall, the mood of the space is masculine and sophisticated, but relaxed.
